But fear not, I have made this guide to tell you how I spend some time in Dubai without breaking the bank! This blog is a little bit long but that is only because I wanted to give you ALL the info you need for your adventure in Dubai. How to get around
Subway
Public transport in Dubai is very well organized and cheap. You can buy a day pass for 5 euros 50 and use it all throughout the city.
Boat
A boat trip is the best way to enjoy the Dubai skyline. Take a step back and enjoy the sights from the water. The wind going trough your hair is a nice bonus to cool off after an unavoidably hot day in Dubai.
Walking
Even though Dubai is known for luxury cars, there is nothing wrong with walking in this city. Maybe this is the European in me, but if you bring a hat and some water, a nice walk is always a good idea.

Dubai Marina
The Dubai Marina is the place to be to see and be seen, if that's your type of thing. I mostly enjoyed coming across things that scream "Dubai" to me, like overpriced stores, luxury car rentals, and chic restaurants. As a budget backpacker, I personally don't really enjoy the way rich people live, but it is cool to see, especially when you visit one of the richest cities in the world.

What To Do
Dubai Marina Walk
The Dubai Marina Walk stretches for about 8 kilometers and is lined with numerous cafes, restaurants and shops. Walking the entire length of the Dubai Marina Walk can take more than half a day, especially if you take your sweet time and stop to check out some of the cafes and shops.
Marina Beach
Marina Beach is one of the best free beaches in Dubai. Take a break from sunbathing to dip into the water from time to time. Enjoy a nice book, watch the sunset, and see the promenade come to life after dark.

Dubai Mall
I've seen the Dubai Mall come across my Instagram Feed daily so I knew when I was in the neighborhood had to swing by and check it out! Dubai Mall is enormous and I mean ENOURGMOUS!
What To Do
Sky View Observatory
Are you afraid of heights? Because at the Sky View Observatory, the elevator will not stop until you reach one of the highest points in the city. At 219.5 meters high, you will get a breathtaking view of Dubai. You can even go on a glass slide, but it's only for the real daredevils! The entrance costs about 23 euros.
Burj Khalifa
