The Todgha Gorge is exactly what it sounds like: a gorge! Take a nice hike trough the canyon and learn about the local way of harvesting and rug making. 

Now this is a classic Morocco trip highlight! Make your way to the secluded desert camp riding on the back of a camel. Cover your head from the extreme heath with a scarf and bring lots of water. Tomorrow morning you will make the way back on your camel, probably with a bit of a sore but!

Driving in the desert is a craft of its own! High dunes and fast drop are the main thing when doing a car crossing. Hold on to something and don´t let go while your driver races over the bumpy golden sand. It feels like a rollercoaster! Some people get very nousious so I wouldn´t advice this if you are carsick.

End your long and adventureous day with a bonfire and live music from your berber guides. Gaze at the bright stars who look even more enchanting in the darkness of the Sahara. The night will be short becasue the camel caravan will leave at sunset to beat the extreme heat. 4am breakfast anyone?

The medina here is so diffrent from the one in Marrakech! It is quiet, cute and peacfull. The buildings are painted blue and white, just like in Greece! Just taking a little walk is a nice way to spend the day here.

The fishmarket is a nice place to visit on a lazy afternoon but make sure to hold your nose! Watch the fisherman work hard brining their catch of the day to the market. You can find fishes, crabs and even sharks at this market!

Riding a horse was on the top of my Morocco bucketlist! Start of at the stables where you will meet your horse and get some basic info about riding before heading of to the beach. There is an option to gallop. This was a very cool experience bus was scarier that expected. Horses run so fast! If your a bit of a thrillseeker, dfenitly something to try out.

This rooftop bar is a great place to end after a full day of exploring. Grab a beer and watch the sun set behind the sea. 

You might have noticed that a stroll trough the medina is always a part of my city tips in Morocco. That because every city has one! Even though the idea is always the same; food, clothes and souvenirs, every madina has a whole differnt atmoshpeher. So in Fes, defenitly take a walk in the medina!

You´ll see leather products eveywhere in Morocco! But how interesting is it to find out how those beautifull bags, shoes and belts are made. Now, be wrned, this is a trip for travel.9olers with a strong stomach! Leather is made of animal skin. Behind a beautifull back hides a grusome story of killing and butchering. But its very interesting to see the proces of making the products we only see in the shops.

Built in the 14th centruy, the Al-Attarine Madrasa stands at the entrance of a spice and perfume market in the spiritual center of Fes. The highlight of the small madrasa is its courtyard, its floors, and walls exquisitely decorated in the traditional patterns of Marinid craftsmanship. Walk trough the wooden doors and admire the craftmaship in this exquisit building!

The Rainbow Street or  Rue Talaa Sghira is a narrow alley named after it´s brightly painted walls. The alleyway is jam-packed with funky shops and beautifull art works. 

The Ruined Garden is a magical little spot with good Moroccon food, friendly servers and little cat friends! This place looks like it came straight from a fairy tale complete with overgrown ruines, little white tables and a lot of flowers. 

The city is very small so besides looking at the nice blue building, there is not mucht to do. But as always there is a little medina to explore and some good food to eat. But most time spend here is with walking around and taking loads of photo´s!
